CSUB Fund
Over 70% of CSUB students need financial assistance to attend school.

The CSUB fund directly contributes to the growth of the university. It impacts the future success of every CSUB student. This flexible fund allows university leadership to rapidly respond to emerging needs. Most recently, it was used to provide technology assistance to students as they transitioned to virtual learning due to COVID-19. It was also used to provide face shields for those on the frontlines battling the pandemic.

 

Your support of this fund will also impact:

  • Student research

  • Community-based field work

  • Travel to conferences and intercollegiate academic competitions

  • Awards for scholarly studies

  • Professional development to enhance classroom learning

The President’s Challenge
President Zelezny has generously committed $50,000 as a challenge gift! This gift will be made towards student research once $15,000 is raised on Giving Day.

The Division of University Advancement has generously committed $1,000 as a challenge gift! This gift will be unlocked for the fund that gains the most donors between 8 A.M. and 10 A.M. on Giving Day.

The Alumni Association Board Challenge
The CSUB Alumni Association cares about the increasing needs for more medical responders in the community in light of COVID-19. They are committing $1,000 as a Giving Day Challenge gift to the CSUB Nursing Department! This gift will be unlocked when the 20th donor makes a gift between the hours of 2 P.M. and 4 P.M. on Giving Day.

The Bynum Inc. Challenge
Bynum Inc. has generously committed $2,500 as a challenge gift! This gift will be unlocked for the Roadrunner Scholarship Fund when the 30th donor makes a gift between 5 P.M. and 7 P.M. on Giving Day. Once this challenge is met, an anonymous donor will match it with an additional $2,500!
